About Habazar.
Geoff Lord F.Inst.SMM heads our team at Habazar.com. Geoff is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management, and studied Sales and Marketing Management at Henley Business College. He has “enjoyed” over 30 years Experience in Sales and Marketing Management with International Sales Organization in the FMCG and the Optical Industry. He has also been involved in Travel Industry (he operated his own agency with his wife) and is currently involved in an Optical Practice with his son. We have won several awards for one of our Optical Practice websites (A growing specialty of ours), but one of our most treasured was that in 2001 we were a finalist in the Practice Website of the Year awards, for which we were subsequently placed on the roll of honor of the “Annual Optical awards”, a very prestigious award, seldom given. We were highly commended, especially as our website was the only one of the semi finalist to have been produced entirely in house.Following this award we were asked by various Opticians to design websites for them. With some help from our sister company (eye2eye), we have designed some very successful practice websites. We have also designed many popular websites for wholesale and retail spectacle frame distributors, sports outlets, car dealers, hotels, restaurants, boarding Houses, and many other businesses. Our real specialty lies in designing e-commerce websites for small businesses at "realistic prices". Having talked to many companies about why they have not yet decided to create a website for their business, we found the main answer was that having a page designed was too expensive and they didn't know how much control they would have in the design process. We hope to change this by providing websites at a price all businesses, big and small, can afford, and working with our clients step by step, allowing them to take control of their site
With our experience in Web Design, and Sales and Marketing, our team can offer a full support package that encompasses Marketing knowledge and expertise in general sales, combined with the additional marketing skills required in the specialist area of E-commerce. Our
Webmaster Is Lee Smith who joined Geoff’s team as a trainee Technician
when he left College, has a level 5 NVQ in Computer technology and web
design, and has written many software programs applications which our
sister company uses every day in their Opticians Practice. He is responsible
for the technology division of our company and enjoys the challenge that
each new web site project brings him.
