CRICKET UMPIRES SIGHT TESTS

The International Cricket Council Proposes that all cricket umpires at International Test Cricket Matches should undergo a Sight Examination and Hearing Test. The moves are designed to promote a more Professional image of the sport and to establish a minimum requirement in relation to vision and hearing for Umpires.      # 16 FEB 2001
